This particular award was given for book keeping, and is one of more than 22 different figurines presented to a group of students for their achievements. Each award reflected, where possible, the different talents of the Students.

The photograph on the left is of a wall plate depicting the Castle at Nottingham with “Ye Old Trip to Jerusalem” Inn set into the rock below.

This was reproduced from an old Victorian print.

The plate is a solid cast and all of the relief work is highlighted with black under glaze.
